I have made the decision to do more for our family and for our environment that is positive. 
That way we can reduce the negative aspects and make the world a better place later on. This is what motivated me to start looking for chicken tractor plans. I figured this method would allow us a great way to keep our lawn free of weeds too without harmful chemicals.

The chickens take care of the bugs, weeds, and all of the negative things in the garden where I grow fresh vegetables for our family to enjoy. However, without the chicken tractor they will simply destroy everything in it. I definitely didn’t want that to happen. With the chicken tractor plans though I was certain I could get rid of what I didn’t need and then hang onto everything else that was valuable to us.
Some of the plans I found though didn’t seem like they would offer a structure that was sturdy enough. With this in mind I kept evaluating chicken tractor plans until I found one that was right for me. It has sturdy chicken wire and 2×2’s for the frame. You also want to make sure fresh water can be attached to it some way.
One the other side of that though I was also looking for chicken tractor plans that weren’t going to make it too heavy for me to move it around the garden in our yard. Keep in mind you don’t need it to be larger that to hold from 3 to 5 chickens. With more chickens the work seems to get done faster. Yet you don’t want them to be too crowded or they will fight among themselves instead of taking care of what you need them to.
I have a great system in place now and I even know about how long it is going to take for the chickens to complete one area before I need to move it again. This is one of the most efficient ways to get your garden and even certain areas of your yard cleaned out. You can do it affordably and you can do it without harming animals or the environment. I love the results and I feel good about what I have accomplished by building a chicken tractor.
Thanks to the chicken tractor plans that I was able to get online and to follow, we are keeping our yard looking great. We aren’t using harmful pesticides or herbicides to do so. This is a very good example for us to set for our children. Hopefully it will encourage them to grow up to be adults that care for the environment as well.
